MSc thesis project proposal

New Instrumentation Techniques for Ultrasonic Flow Measurement

  • Ultrasonic flow sensors are widely used in industry. Conventionally, they measure flow using two transducers by detecting the transit-time difference between an acoustic pulse sent upstream and a pulse sent downstream.
  • In this project, we will explore innovative techniques to improve the measurement accuracy of such flow sensors, building on our previous work [1].
  • The project includes the design and measurement of an experimental prototype.
