Matas Sakalauskas
Matas Sakalauskas was born in Kaunas, Lithuania, in 2000. From 2019 to 2024 he served the Lithuanian Air Force as a Radar Systems Specialist while pursuing his Bachelor’s degree. In 2024, he joined SiFemto as an Analog IC Design Engineer and in 2025, he received his Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from Kaunas University of Technology. For his BSc thesis, he designed a Down-Conversion Mixer for 5G FR2 in 28nm CMOS.
In 2025, he began his MSc at TU Delft in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics track, with a focus on RF and analog integrated circuit design. He received the NXP Scholarship in Millimeter Wave Wireless Technology. In August 2026, he joined the Electronic Instrumentation Laboratory to design, tapeout and measure a precision RC frequency reference at Infineon Technologies Austria AG.
His research interests include ADCs, frequency synthesis and RF receivers.
