Stoyan Dinev

Stoyan Dinev was born in 1999 in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria. He received a B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering in TU Delft, in 2025. He is currently pursuing an M.Sc. degree in Biomedical Engineering, with track in Medical Devices, at Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands. He joined the Electronic Instrumentation research group in the Microelectronics Deparment in September 2026, and his current project focuses on the development of a device to measure neurotransmitters inside the gut, to better understand the microbiota-gut-brain axis. His research interests include medical devices, electrochemical sensing, biomedical sensors, ultra-low power sensors. Outside of his academic work, his hobbies include tennis, judo, motorsports and cooking.
