[2026] Magnetic cilia

We have ways to create flexible polymer hairs that look a lot like cilia. To drive them, we are trying to embed magnetic particles and use an external magnetic field to drive them. It is not easy to realize such a system that is acceptable for a patient. Hanggai and Leon Abelmann invite you to help us discover new ways to drive the cilia and/or understand their movement under rotating magnetic fields.
