Biography
Shiva Jamalizavareh was born in Tehran, Iran, in 1989. She received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Tehran in 2011, the M.Sc. degree from Aalto University in 2013, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Minnesota, United States, in 2019, where her research focused on jitter-resilient sampling techniques for high-speed sampled-data systems.
Since 2017, she has worked in the semiconductor industry in various engineering roles, including at Micron and Qualcomm, and most recently as a Principal Engineer at Qorvo, leading the design of high-voltage battery monitoring integrated circuits (2025). She is currently a postdoctoral researcher at TU Delft, focusing on ASIC development for wearable ultrasound patches. Her research is part of the Sonoskin project.
